The residents of SL came up with the term "animation override." That's what your looking for, a script that overrides the defolt animations of the avatar. There are at least one free open source animation over ride made by franics chung. I think you can find out more about this script by searching the animation topic in this fourm, or in game by searching land advertisements. Franis Chung dose not offer support, she won't answer question on how this scripts works, or how to use it. But there are other people who do. Just one more reson to search the forum.
Animation override works by storing your setting in a note card, along with the animations. Just make sure to set the timer properlyl. Setting it too high can create lag. |

She is looking for the script that you place in your shoe and add a walking animation. Not the full over rider. When you find it let me know lol |

Can I suggest you hit the LSL Wiki and the 'events' link and look at http://secondlife.com/badgeo/wakka.php?wakka=moving_start and http://secondlife.com/badgeo/wakka.php?wakka=moving_end
What you need to do is at moving_start stop the default walk and run anims and replace with the one you wnat in the shoe. At moving_end stop your anim. Hope that gives you enough pointers. |

I was under the imprestion that she would have to change more then just the walking animation. Like all six standing animations, duck, extra.

I wish to clarify something, please: Francis Chung is unable to offer support because she is so very busy making cool new stuff and involved in the many projects of hers -- I don't want it to be implied that she isn't helping because she doesn't want to, but she is very helpful when she does have the time. ![]() The point may be moot, because her latest Wet Ikon Franimation Overrider, Version 1.5 -- low-lag and optimized for sheer elegance -- includes FULL documentation as written by Gwyneth and Kex. If you want a FREE copy of this fantastic device to load your anims into and customize the way you walk, fly, sit, and more, feel more than free to IM me in Second Life, and I will send a copy your way. _____________________
