I really don't think it's possible...but just thought I'd check to see if anyone had figured a way to record/detect which side of a single prim an avatar touches..

This is actually one I was going to suggest actually, but I've ran out of votes on the voting area.
A simple function like llTouchedSide(x) could return the face of the object that is touched. Or alternatively it could return a vector which represents the exact point at which the player touched the object. |
