Is there a way to use a shockwave file in secondlife?
It's not interactive its a countdown.

the quicktime / video / parcel interface can play back some form of old (like 1.2 or so) flash and possibly shock wave
course for a simple countdown using all of that crap you might as well play a video file, or have it load images via its url
if you want it to be portable, bout the best thing you could do is some form of texture changer, or better yet make a image with tiles 0-9 and slide them im place via script
