Way to make script pause?

I have a door script (deluxe door) that unless I press a mouse key very quickly and sharply opens and then closes immediately. It seems that a pause at an appropriate point in the script will fix this (I assume it opens but then registers the mouse button still being pressed far too quickly? Perhaps my internet connection is too good......)

What I'dlike is an llwait() command but I guess there isn't one, and it already has a timer event in there. Any ideas anyone? I have a number of these doors on my property so am looking for a quick fix to cut and paste into all of them.

llSleep(float secs);

llSleep(2) will give you 2 seconds.
