Has anyone else had any trouble getting the camera lag parameters to work? Regardless of what I do, all the camera lag settings seem to stay 0. When shifting focus or position the camera just jerks suddenly into it's new setting with no transition. Quite eye-bleeding for rapid changes. I tried plugging in Dan Linden's followcam script from the wiki and his focus_on_me trap does the same thing, just jerks around. Do the camera controls really suck this bad?

They work fine. They work pretty well. Ask LL for an example script or check the wiki.
