How can you look straight down while sitting? Is there a scripting command to unlock this, or anyway to easily set this as an option in the client prefs? THX

Yes, there is.

You can easily set the camera parameters of the chair (or whatever) to your preference, and put this onto the change event for sitting. :)

Let me know if you required more assistance.

I should have specified this in my original post: _DURING MOUSELOOK_.

Because all these camera scripting commands do JACK SH** when you are in mouselook.

I need to be able to look straight down while in MOUSELOOK during sitting. Sure, you can look straight down with the camera positioning while not in mouselook using scripting. But while in mouselook if you are sitting then it will not let you point straight down (though you can point straight up). You can however point straight down if you are flying or standing (but not while sitting). This makes it impossible for a mouselook vehicle to fly directly down (straight down along the Z axis). Please advise if there is a way to fix this in modding the client or scripting ... thanks!

I have this same issue. As far as I have been told, it is an issue with the SL camera and there isn't really a workaround.

Though if there is some golden secret, I myself would love to hear it.

... absolutely wonderful... sigh.

I'm guessing we need to start a Jira, and to start praying.
