llSensorRepeat does not cross Sim Boundaries

I want to detect avators within 96 metres the script works fine within a sim, but as soon as I cross a sim boundary, an avator just the other side of the boundary cannot be detected.

The Wiki says that llSensorRepeat works across Sim Boundaries, provided the time interval is great enough, I have allowed 30 deconds in the repeat, which should be plenty.

Is this the way llSensorRepeat works now or is it a bug?

Please if anybody has any ideas I would be grateful.

In my experience, llSensorRepeat rarely detects avatars over a sim border, if ever.

Crossing a sim-border also = crossing a server. Therefore, anything trying to detect from one sim to another generally fails after about 10 meters...if it crosses at all.

It does work over the sim border, but it only works a percentage of the time based on the speed of the scanner.

Faster than .5 sec will rarly work.

~2 sec seems to work about 25% of the time.
