I am trying to find a script that will allow modifyable items to be locked on to an av similar to handcuffs. and a script to block chat and ims from an av.

You cannot block chat or IMs from an av. There is also no way to permanently force an item attach to an av. There is always a way out. These are safeties in SL against abuse/griefing of avatars.

Also...if you are just looking for the script instead of attempting to make one yourself, please look in the Scripting Library or post in Products Wanted.

Highly recommend contacting Dari, her work is amazing.

There are a few others. I know of one vendor now selling a plug in for the Amethyst collar that blocks all outside interaction while activated, no chat, no im's and can force mouselook.
