Okay. I know people have made linked turrets the sit on the FRONT of a one-man vehicle.
I am making a large setpos vehicle and would at least four to five movable turrets at various points on the hull of this vehicle.

The turrets must:
- be usable by anyone, the vehicle pilot will not be operating these (though it would be cool)
- option to activate by sitting or voice control.
- be either mouselook or takecontrol driven.
- no have any side-effects like permissions errors.
- be able to toggle between two or more types of ammunition.

Turret seats will be placed at compass points along the ship, with a possible 'belly' seat if deemed necessary. The actual turrets will be placed below or near the gunners.

This item will not be resold publicly, but on commission basis. (I don't need a thousand 100+ prim rides crashing sims with my name on them. But I'll settle for a couple dozen.

you could just make a gun that looks like a turret, and attach it to said avatar's head.

Actually, I've made turrets for two-person vehicles. It's a garganutan pain, mathematically speaking. Not that big a deal once you actually script it.

But 500L$ is... what... $1.95? C'mon!

if you want to see some movement here you need to offer at least 2k. You will have a script in a matter of hours if you offer 10k

Okay. L$2.5K for a working solution, and a free Prim Reaper.

MUST WORK REGARDLESS OF HOW USER IS SEATED.
MUST HAVE FULL RIGHTS.

Tried it. Doesn't do well. I tried having people sit and just BYO weapons, but the actual firing arc is limited even if you could turn your head around.
I suppose I could just make an 'anti-aircaft gun' attachment, a massive hulking backpack unit like Raven Vulcan (?) had in Metal Gear Solid.

I've done something similiar to this in the past and I could do this request... but for the profit you'll get from this vehicle versus the payment you're offering, na.

Q: do you want all the guns to point in the same direction or to point at a target? Or put differently, do you want parallel fire or targeted fire?

I have a 20m long, 8m wide airship. The controling Avs will be sitting in compass points (Front, Left, Right, Back) The guns will be set slightly below the seats, outward from the player. I want it simply be controllable by that particular user. They will be firing independantly (Anti-Aircraft Defenses). I'm perfering a WASDEC control or mouselook tracking.

Okay. Fine. I'll pay $1000, and possibly a fee whenever I sell a ship that uses this system. I'm not made of lindens, you know.
