Where is the centre of a sensor in the root prim of a linkset?

On the evidence of the little experiment I've just tried, it appears to be at the zero point of the root prim, which isn't too surprising really.

EDIT: as an interesting aside, I also found that I got a "no_sensor" when I edited the position of the target prim, which didn't revert to a "sensor" until I'd unselected it.

EDIT 2: and the same when I made the target physical and draged it around with my mouse or kicked it around with my av: "no_sensor" while it was moving.
