I need help with a script for radio

I am new here, i want to create my own radio,I need a script that i can listen to different internet channel radio , I would like to be able to choose the internet radio channel .

I would use a dialog menu and in the if statement use " llLoadURL " using the internet radio stations URL that you want to hear. You will get 12 buttons to use if you nest them you can get sub menus with 12 buttons each on each sub menu.

If you want to actually play the radio channel in-world, then you'll need to use parcel media. That requires you to own the land, or be part of a group which owns land that you can use. As Raul suggested, you'd then need to script your object to display a dialog (function llDialog), but when a user selects an option, use llParcelMediaCommandList to set the parcel media settings.

I'm not sure how compatible parcel media is with Internet radio stations though. I've heard it work with some, but maybe not all.

Perdo is right about owning the land and using parcel media. But you can also make it a hud for your own personal use. Then you don't have to worry about using parcel media. It will play behind the SL viewer on windows media player. I made one that way once.

well, I am student and i have to start some kind of business in SL according to my teacher.
then I thought. to build some radio and to add script just to be able to play radio channel from the internet.
and i am not so good and familiar with writing script in SL .
the Product (radio) aims that the user can listen to radio and choose wich channel to be his or her favorite.
The product aims to be for personal use.
I think now i gave you lite bit more details about my futur radio.
another thing , should i need to use a media player or it just works witout it.
sorry for this question, because i have not lot of lindel $ , I have just to rent shop for selling my product .
by the way do you know some place where i can rent cheaper shop.
