Sorry. Just got done watching Jeff Dunham (comedian) and his really dead terrorist puppet and he said that - I've just now been able to stop laughing....but it sorta fits my request.

I was playing in a haunted sim one night many moons ago, rounded a corner and BAM! Next thing I know I was TPd off somewhere with a notice saying I was dead.

Later, somewhere else, checking out underwater diving in a cool jungle sim, I managed to attract a swarm of pirhana who kept knocking down my life and then BAM! again TPd out.

I would reeeally like to know how to do that. I have a little thing I've been trying to build that would be perfect for that sort of booby trap death teleport elsewhere. Would anyone out there be so kind as to show me how this is accomplished, what sort of script that is, etc. Is it possible to do it where it teleports somewhere offsim but specific or is such a thing always to your "home" location if you have one, and if not, Korea (yall need to quit that, that place is too laggy to be sending people who die in world. No sense in that.) as "a closer destination."

I've looked for a script for that all over but have no idea what it would be called in order to find it, and even then I'd want it full perm so I can use it how I want.

Assist? Thanks!

to enable damage, it's largely a function of the land, you have to first allow damage to be measured in your land. And there are various battle, combat, attack scripts floating around. Even chech the scripting forums for the word "damage" that is what it is called, or enable damage, that sort.

The land you were on had the "safe (no damage)" box unticked in the About Land "options". Damage is caused by any collisions... when your health goes down to zero you are teleported to your home (or if home not set somewhere else... not sure where).

So basically the script is just causing the damage by collisions.. the teleport isn't part of the script.

I understand about dropping damage, but it's how to accomplish this - preferably with something more specific, like instructions, that I was shooting for here, not so much a description. I can already describe it (see original post), just need to make it happen. I know nada about scripting. I can cut n paste though :D

Anyone? Thanks!

This link should pretty much explain it all: http://www.lslwiki.net/lslwiki/wakka.php?wakka=llSetDamage

Another possible solution is to simply teleport the avatar home without actual "damage" damage. The object that does this must be owned by the exact same owner as the parcels both it and the avatar are over (including being group-owned if the parcels are also deeded to a group). See http://www.lslwiki.net/lslwiki/wakka.php?wakka=llTeleportAgentHome
