Online status indicator. Email owner instead of IM owner?

I have a basic online status indicator script that indicates whether the owner is online or not, and allows the user to send an IM to the owner.

Is there an easy modifcation to change this so that the message would be sent directly to email instead of IM, even when the owner is online?

Please point me in the right direction! I'm still a pretty basic scripter, but I can get some help from hubby if I don't understand the directions!

Thanks,
Princess Ivory

I have a mailbox at my place that allows users to drop notecards in it for me to read later. I'm not sure about the script you're specifically asking for, but if you don't find that one, this is an alternative. You still just check it when ever you want, like e-mail. And it's a freebie. :)

My husband tells me that he can take the online status notifier script that I have and mod it to send responses to email, so I think I'm all set. I would like to have a copy of the notecard box you are using though, if you don't mind. I don't have anything like that. Is there somewhere I can get a copy, or can you drop on on me with full perms?

Thanks,

You could go the whole hog and write something that reads a notecard and spits it out to email then deletes the notecard.

Just a thought.

I'm not sure exactly how he did it, but my husband made one. It's pretty cool. He's going to clean it up, and sell it in his new gadget shop, Enchanted Frog Gadgets (we're still getting set up, but watch for us soon in Ballyboo!)

It seems to me you'd just replace the llInstantMessage call in the script with an llEmail call.
