I am developing a game that gives players a HUD upon their decision to participate. It of course brings us the blue box when I use the llGiveInventoryList (so that it creates a new directory) to keep, ignore, or whatever. But then the player has to know to find it in inventory and wear it.
Is there a way that I can cause it to be worn when received, or at least make it easier?
I know this is related to what Inu was asking, but different with a HUD.
Thanks, Baron

From: Baron Hauptmann Is there a way that I can cause it to be worn when received, or at least make it easier? No. But you can make it easier, by llGiveInventory delivering a note that says something like: Wear the HUD in the folder marked "Baron's Game HUD"!

If you could force people to wear a HUD upon receipt, that would be a griefer's dream. Just spam people with HUDs, trick them into accepting debit perms, and rake in the $$$$$.

Ah, thanks Angela. I had included a notecard with the llGiveInventoryList, but I had not realized (forgotten?) that llGiveInventory notecard would cause the notecard to open up. Right now, they get the permission popup, but then have to realize that they have to find the HUD and wear it. I knew there had to be something to make it a LITTLE easier.
