So I created a ball to rez an object when it was touched. The object is no copy and was expensive. It was working just fine, no problems. Then I tried it once when my plot was too full and it said "Can't rez object becuase the plot is full" or something like that.

Now the object is GONE. It isn't anywhere in my inventory, lost and found, trash. Nor is it inside the object that rezzed it and it's not on my plot anywhere!!

Can someone please help? Where did it go? Is this a bug? How can I get my object back?

Thanks much

Sounds like a nasty bug, I would report it, it shouldve remained in the objects inventory.

Ugh that sorta stuff happens to me all the time. It usually ends up appearing somewhere in the middle of my inventory a few days later.

Do you ever find CLEAR CACHE quickens that up? Had a few experiences like that before myself.

I hope this isn't a nasty bug either.

And Prong, if it DOES show back up in your inventory, I want that replacement copy back ;)

Odd, as LSL doesn't allow an object to rez a no copy object at all; it will fail with the message nameofobject: "cannot rez no copy obects" or something along those lines; but not delete the object it was trying to rez. I had a similar issue with a very, very expensive custom piece i had made, when pulling it (no copy) out of my inventory, i recieved a "failed to place object" error and the object was gone. permanantly 0.o
