The script I got for sending out update scripts when recieving a email from a rezzed object will not work. What am I doing wrong? I named stuff right and it was giving no errors it just sat their and did nothing. I also put in some llSay lines to tell me when the proccess of llGiveInventory was starting(before those lines) and that line did not chat out. Thanks for any help. I will post the script link: /54/83/265926/1.html

What changes did you make to the original scripts?
At first glance, the most important pitfall to avoid is in the "Gift Item" script. Where it says "llEmail(...", you have to remember to replace " servers key)" with the UUID of your server object. |

I will try again today and see. Is there any land perms needed or anything?EDIT: I jsut noticed I forgot the @lsl.secondlife.com part. Thanks for your help. |

There shouldn't be any land permissions required, so I'm not sure why it's not working. Why don't you post your entire scripts here, just in case you've accidentally changed something?

I foudn out the issue. The Key finder I was using found teh UUID through the inventory of an object on click. I was dropping a copy, so a new UUID. Well, anyway. A simple add of touch event with only one line, llOwnerSay(llGetKey()); helped me get the key and now it works!!! Thanks for your help, this post made me look at it again and now it will save me a lot of time! |
