Who knows how to set direction when teleporting to an island? For example, when avatars teleport to my island, I want them direct to the North. How to set or any script, please help me.

I stand open to correction here, as this is observational and not tested, but to the best of my knowledge, arriving Avatars will be in the same spot and facing the same direction, that you where when you set the TP Point in Land options.

Thank you Very Keynes for replying
As I've seen when teleporting to an island, avatars will face in the direction of the desired destination which is shown by the Red tracker arrow. Therefore, I think if we can set the Red tracker arrow position, avatars teleporting to an island will face to our determined destination. What do you think? and Do you know how to set the Red tracker arrow position?

llMapDestination has a vector lookAt variable, but according to lslwiki.net it doesn't work yet.

If you give a LM to your island that is to the North of the Landing Point you set, wouldn't that cause them to face north when they arrive?

They would land at the LP facing the LM location.

Not tested, just a guess.

I believe that is true of landmarks. I haven't seen it work for other methods. Of course, you should also consider decorating and placing the landing point in a fashion that tends to draw the attention in the direction you want people to look (for example, put the landing point inside a room with a nice exit/hallway, and put the object you want their attention on in that direction). Maybe even some kind of polite greeter that suggests guests first "look over here." If you were to walk into someone's house, would you prefer a polite suggestion that you look at the poster on the wall, or would you like your host to grab your head and/or body and twist you into position? ;)

Tech Support Says You Can't

I opened a ticket regarding this issue and here's the reply I got:

"We have solved your issue
Solution:Greetings DoctorTom,

there is a command/placeholder for it in LSL; however, it is not active.. therefor, there is no current method for setting which direction people face when teleporting in.

in the meantime.. there are tricks/workarounds you could use, such as a small ramp/rock/object placed so the person is forced to turn or take a couple steps in that direction.

Have you considered a brick wall?

I mean, seriously.. if you want people to "go a certain way" after they teleport in.. try putting something in their way of going the wrong way.
