I built a stage that rotates. Unlike my previous rotating stages which are 'flat' or horizontal this one is 'vertical' and rotates around a spindle fixed to the back wall. When it's aligned North-South everything's fine and looks as it should. However as soon as I rotate the stage assembly, the build rotates correctly but the rotating movement of the stage doesn't. It still attempts to spin lazily in the same East-West plane perpendicular to it's original North-South alignment.
Is there a way to ensure that objects always rotate in the same plane relative to the build rather than the same absolute plane relative to the grid *without* having to edit the rotation script manually each time?

Rot * llGetRot() will apply your local rotation to the objects regional rotation.

I tried it but it didn't work. Probably because I did something wrong. Thanks anyway,

Possibly a code snippet would help solve your problem.
