Run/Walk Speed? Slow down and/or speed up?

Apologies if this has been asked before, but it's late and I'm too bleary eyed to do a proper seach.

Is there a way to (I just noticed that I'm too bleary eyed to spell "search" right, too! :D) speed up the run speed and (seperately) slow down the walk speed of the AV?

I'm not asking for, like, a grajillion miles an hour, just a little bit faster.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance my darlings

If you use a physics push of the avatar in the direction of desired travel you can achieve kind-of that effect. Of course, it's late and I'm tired...but it's the first thing that popped into my head.

I know it is possible in at least a limited sense. I keep seeing 'ninjas' do their whole super-fast move.

I've been trying to modify a flight assist script to slow down avatar flight, it's not proving too easy, will post back if successful.

You might have luck by using the vehicle system on the avatar, coupled with movement controls. The vehicle system will let you raise the friction that the avatar experiences, which will slow it down.

Holding down the C or Page Down key (crouch/land) while walking forward does a half-speed crouchwalk. Use an AO to change the anim so it doesn't look like yer trying to take a dump. ^.^

Hold or tap the spacebar while running to make you run doublefast. Holding the spacebar while jumping makes you land in slow motion.

Next one takes practice...to float across the ground at like quadruple speed...run, then jump while running (keep the run key held down in the air). Just before you land press and hold jump while yer landing (still with the run key held down). You'll go all hyper and skim across the ground for like 50m or so.

Thanks for the ideas, everyone!

I was kinda hoping it would be, like, a script thing that I could have attached.
Still tired, so I'm not quite with it. *grin*

Do flight assists work with walking and running?
