Hello,

how can I have my avatar say something at fixed intervals?
I think I can make the script, because I did it for a pair of glasses, but I don't know how to attach the script to my avatar directly.

Thanks.

Scripts can't make your avatar speak. You can make a script produce a dialog of choices which when you click on a button will cause your avatar to speak. You can name a object with your avatar's name and have the object speak, like:
CODE

llSetObjectName ("Elgard Kendall");
llSay (0, "I am the real Elgard Kendall!");

You rezz a prim, put the script inside the prim then take the prim and then attach it to convenient location on your avatar.

I've done it by rezzing a prim onto my HUD. I have a little box on my hud to operate some of the toys that i have around my place, without having to remember bulky scripts and key codes ... this also gives an extra bit of security to who can operate my objects. i can give the master hud to someone else and give them access also
