Having a problem. Buiilding an avatar, and I need the head attachment to more or less "turret" on the Z axis. Now, I've immobilized the body, everything but the head, using an animation. That part is solid and reliable.

The head is a sphere, inside the avatar, and I'm hoping to eliminate the "up and down" looking by using a script, to keep the head's top always pointing Up.

Can anyone help me with, what should be, a very simple script?

I've been wrestling with a similar problem, and as far as I've been able to discover you can't do it. Once an object is attached to an avatar, the functions that'll tell you where it is and how it is rotated don't work they way you'd want. They will tell you where the AV is, how the AV is rotated, and could tell you where the attached object is in relation to its attachment point, but can't tell you anything about where the attachment is in the world.

Apparently, the AV animations are done completely on the client side, and are not going to be in sync with every client "seeing" the animation. Since the attachments move with the AV, where they are will be a bit different for everyone watching, depending on where in the animation their client is at. So, even if you could figure out where the attachment is for you and straighten it out, it'll look all crooked for other people anyway.
