How often are scripts reset out of user control? Do they reset on a sim crash? A sim version change?

Neither causes a reset. I haven't come across anything since I have been here that cause an uncontrolled reset.

Scripts can get reset if they are not in the running state when a sim reboots.

OOOPS, Thanks Viktoria. Or if you do a sim crossing with a script that is not running.

On sim crssings they can crash and give no or weird problems, for vehices. I am not sure for other items, but they don't reset though, tey become unusable! Sort of not a reset, but still kind of a problem for folks worrying about loosing data etc.
