Object put *back* into inventory?

(is it possible?)
I have an object that rezzes a non-copy/non-mod object...question is:

Can I script it somehow to "re-take" the object into it's inventory easily?

sorry but everything ive seen says no all you can do is rez and destroy it cant take it back
