The last useful information I found on this was from 2006.
Since then, the "fly in a no-fly zone " menu option seems to have disappeared from ADVANCED menu.
Is there away to fly in flying restricted areas?

Advanced, View Admin Options will do it. The regular viewer doesn't have a separate setting for bypassing the flying thing, and you don't need a script for it.

Press CTRL -ALT -V to fly in no flyzone
oops CTRL - ALT - V is the same as View Admin Options. That happens if you mostly use shortcuts then you forget the names of the menu options  |

Flying in a no-fly zone gives the landowner right to shoot you down, just so you know.

if you're flying before you tp or enter the parcel, i think you keep flying until you stop, then you would have to leave to do it again

Oh thanks! So theres no extra "button" to fly in flying restricted areas? I just enable the "view admin options" and go ahead and fly? Thanks Ill try it!

First time I hit a no-fly zone I created a program to let me make huge leaps like the Hulk instead. Same here, though I'm not sure if it was in response to a no-fly zone or merely around the same time. One of my first projects in SL was an anti-gravity device that used llSetForce(). I suppose it would've been like 3 lines except that I built in a bunch of control input logic to change the amounts and gave it a simple move lock and such. |
