Can a ParticleScript that references (or uses) a texture follow the shape of a Prim?
I looked at the list of variables and tried several of them but couldn't find one that would make the particle texture (or is that textured particle) start at the bottom of the prim and go to the top of the prim.
Thanks for a clue, a trail, a breadcrumb, or kind words.

My understanding of it is that particles are emitted from the centre of the prim?

Yes, the particles start at the center of the prim. If you want them to start at the bottom you need to use the offset and then apply a force to them to make them rise.
RADIUS would be the one to play with to get the offset you want. Then just give it a slight upward ACCEL value to get it to move to the top of your prim, setting the AGE so that it dies at the top of the prim.
The Particle Laboratory, Teal (202, 53, 22), is a great place to learn all about particles. Plus there is a really good freebie script you can get there that makes working with particles much easier (and it's ok to use in items you sell since Jopsy gives permision to do so).

Thank you Vares. I'm almost out of work and will check this place out.
