Ok, had a weird one happen this morning. I am in the process of adding keyboard controls to one of my HUDs. ( Its a multi object HUD, and already has button movement control - so I thought I would add in a keyboard option too ) I TakeControls ok - get the "Release controls" and "Mouselook" sl buttons ok. Keyboard control works fine. But when I press "Release Controls" the HUD detaches itself ? The keyboard controller and take/release mechanism are all in the root prim ( and there isnt a single llDetach in the whole thing ) Anybody seen this before ( and knows how to stop it ) or am I missing something dead obvious.

When I Releasecontrols via script it works ok - just when I press the sl "Release controls" buttons does it detach itself.

Pressing release controls for me has always detached everything that takes controls rather than telling the script to release them. I assumed it was the expected behaviour. It's certainly been that way since 1.4 on my mac client.

I get the same as Eloise. The release controls button detaches all attachments that take controls.

I will just have to add something to the instructions.
( Have never used it in that way before so was somewhat taken aback when it did it )
