one day i will get round to learn about scripting - really for the moment ive collected lots and wanted to pack them neatly into a cube... but then - haha - the fun started!! the box started to fizz and sparkle and emit strange noises and messages, yeah somehow all the scripts got activated when i dragged them in... - to top it all, the box then disappeared !!!! now if you could just for a minute, pick yourself up from the floor from laughing about me, how do i pack them neatly without this mayhem? thank you from a red-faced eirlys

Open the script while it's in your inventory, reset it with the button at the bottom of the script edit window, and uncheck the "running" box. You can safely transfer it to the contents of your vendor box then. Be sure to include some kind of note so that the person who opens the box knows how to re-activate the scripts.

;0 lol i hate for your terrible accident, but lol i think you might've just unintentionally spawned a new fun rainyday activity - 'mass inventory burnings', where we could all get together and see what happens if we -finally- clear out and trash our inventory in that manner - that could be really mad crazy fun!! ) contests for 'best burn'... ;0 p.s. viktoria that'sa awesome kewl trick never knew! ;0

There is a nice easy way. If you hold down ctrl while dragging in scripts (prim will highlight in red), they won't start up.

Unfortunately, you don't get a Reset button or a "Running" box (or even a "Mono" box -- hopefully they will fix that soon) when they are in avatar inventory. However, what Viktoria said works. (I didn't know that, either, btw, so thanks Viktoria! )
