Passenger script for vehicle

Hello

I'm using the Aaron Perkins car script and I'm having trouble using my own animations to sit a passenger. When I get someone to sit it pushes the car up and tilts it badly. I'm trying to create a rather small car where avatars sit closer to ground. Is there a way to make the avatar phantom or something so it doesn't interfere with the position of the car, or is there some other way to prevent the car from tilting when sitting a passenger?

Also, if somebody has a better vehicle script that allows you to sit as many passengers as you want using your own animation I'm all ears. I don't want a fancy multi gear racing car, I just want to cruise around with a bunch of murdered hookers in my trunk.

i don't work with vehicles usually, but i do know that if you make the vehicle phantom, it will make the avatar phantom as well as the avatar becomes part of the link set when they sit. though as i said i don't usually work with vehicles, i don't know if turning it phantom will effect how it moves as i assume some vehicle scripts rely on ground collision which wouldn't occur in a phantom linkset and may cause the vehicle to fall thru the ground and be returned

I think I need a totally diffirent vehicle script if I'm going to use my own animations because no matter what sit script I use for a passenger, even if it works, I'm constantly getting a script error about animation permissions not set.

You need to put the sit position up higher and use an offset in your animations to make the avatar "sit" lower. The physics engine only cares where the avatar is actually sitting, not where it appears to be sitting via an animation.

If your making your own animation for it, You need to make sure you set the offset in the animation LOWER. If your using like an inworld animator to make your animations, they have that option to lower the manaquin. So that will fix it.

But let me know what your using if you need furthur assistance

Thanks for the advice everyone, but I solved the problem with the help of Osprey Therian . Works brilliantly now.
