Does anyone know how to script a working mirror?

Isn`t possible currently. Isn`t a scripting issue, either.

You can search the forums and it will tell you that they do the mirror trick with a sit and setcamera. Not perfect but that is how it is done. You aren't looking at a reflection. When you sit you view changes from where to mirror is looking back in your direction. An interesting thread or two here somewhere. Says a couple othere tricks of using pictures to do relfections from water etc. But they are all just tricks.

yea, it's not a script issue, it's a texture issue..

I'm still trying to create a texture in my paint program (Gimp, for those who are currious) that reflects the image of the person sitting at the computer, but thus far I have been less than successfull. ;)

Yes we do. From a scripting perspective it is a matter of setting the avatar sit position precisely to face back at themself. Then creating the visual illusion that they are looking at the frame with the correct background. It's a bit touchy to get the illusion right. But in the end it looks pretty good.

True mirrored textures aren't possible, yet...
