Ok, this should be simple, but I can't figure out how to make something return to the player's inventory (instead of being deleted using llDie) if the object is rezzed outside of a specified region. I can make it work if the object is attached, but not if it is rezzed to the ground. Does anyone out there know how to do this? Thanks.

You can't.

The options like that are llDie() if it's unattached, llDetachFromAvatar if it is attached. People having being asking for scripted auto-return type things, which this would be a variation on that I don't think has been discussed before, for quite a while.

I'm guessing that, although it seems easy, there's either a very closely related spam tool, or they're worried about impacting the asset server... llDetachFromAvatar doesn't directly alter your inventory except the "worn" flag after all.

Ahhh.. that clears things up - thanks bunches for the information - I guess llDie is my best option for now :-)
