I've been trying to find the type of animation vender that you stand on and it poses your body. The only one I was able to find was from Sensual Casanova. She seems very greedy selling for 150 each and making no copy. Of course noone can afford enough of those to place enough to actually make money. So I need help with the script for one I'm trying to make. I tried piecing together the poseball script with a vender script with a forward/backward button script and it resulted in nothing more then a mess. Could someone please help me. Or at least direct me where one can find a free animation vender that you stand on and click cycle through the animations. Even if its not free at least copyable so you don't have to spend 5k to make a few hundred bux.

Hi Corey Craven,
I have a script called Animation Dance Braclet, It can be found in dari at my home, right next to the casnio, it supports next, back, previuse, random, and many more commands. If you toss some aniamtions into the braclet, and change the trigger from wear to sit, and you got your self a multi animation pose chair.

I got the bracelet. I don't see how it could possibly work for what I need though. I constructed a machine that you stand on to test animations. I need a script that will do the following. Using forward/back buttons cycle through the animations....dirslay the animation name and price....allow the user to buy the animation. The script for your bracelet seems to depend on the user wearing the object and typing commands. I do not want this. I don't see why this is so hard to find. I see the type on animation venders all over the place that you stand on and cycle through and purchase the current animaton. Like I said Sensual Casanova has a vender of this type for sale, but it's expensive and no copy.

i've build up a box for doing that.

u sit on the box and then just touch the cube to see next animation. just pay the cube to buy the showing animation.

That's not the same thing either. I want a forward back button. And ability to show several animations.

so you want to be able to display sets of animations at ones? ie first item bobs dance pack (10 animations), laten jazz steps (3) animations.

Having an animation triggered by attach or by sit is just a few lines of code. The attach vertion fertches the key of an avatar when the object is attached to an avatar. A sit trigger fetches the key of an avatar when an avatar sits on the object. So change some where around like 10 lines of code. And it becomes a chair, with all the funtions of the braclet.
btw 150 L is nothing. People sell shirts for 200 L, i've seen shoes for 150 L.

Noo I don't want to display 'several' animations at once. Just one at a time, but I want the machine to hold more then 1 with the ability to cycle through them with the forward back buttons. And 150 isn't a lot in itself no. To make any kind of money though you need SEVERAL places where you place venders. Also I have static poses AND sitting animations which I like to put in different machiines. Ok so that's 2 machines needed for one location. Now add 10 locations to that and you will see that it's hard to make your money back from the machines. Her making those no copy is greed.

or good business. have you considered that the fact you think you need to buy 20 vendors might be a factor in why you aren't making much money? too much overhead and expense. start with just a couple vendors in one place and expand as you get the money.

oh, and whatever you do don't pay someone to let you put your vendor somewhere. that's too expensive for what you get. :D

oh and one last thing, coming on here and accusing someone of being greedy for selling their product is pretty tacky. and it can get you in trouble for badmouthing them by name. just fyi.

I have placed a couple venders and making money I am not. How are you to make money when you can't afford to rent seveal spots. I've rented 2 spots near busy hubs and not sold 1 thing yet. Also with severe pay cut to the average SLer you can't charge squat for your creations now since noone has much money. I'm not even close to covering the cost of the vender machines let alone the rent on the 3 spots I've taken. And as for the vender machine I bought I don't know if it was built and coded by the person selling it anyway. The script is set to not show its contents.

Corey it's just kind of a principle of business that if what you're doing is losing you money you need to do something else. i'm not miss Business 101 for sl but if you rented 2 spots at telehubs and haven't sold anything, that tells me spots at telehubs aren't necessarily a good place to sell and if you aren't selling all you're doing is losing rent. renting a spot for your vendors doesn't mean the spot is good or you'll get business.

you'd be better off putting your vendors on your own land and posting something in the appropriate Classifieds forum telling people what you have and where to get it instead of relying on people randomly seeing your stuff and buying it at the telehubs. most people hit a telehub and launch straight up as fast as they can on their way to where they're going. :D

also, and this is a touchy subject i know, but you got to consider whether what you're selling is any good and whether people will want it and whether the market is flooded with other maybe better products just like yours.

last, remember that sl is supposed to be fun and not a stressful experience or a source of frustration. if it is then you might be playing it wrong. ;)

there is a way to know who build the script. right click and check properties. and... anyone can sell others stuff. i usually build stuff in colabortion with many other users...

i think u lost control of this topic. i offered u my vendor with no back and forward button, is moving only forward. 1 only prim. u can have as much animations as u want inside. u could easy transform the script to fit your request.

i agree with Zuzi: "..., coming on here and accusing someone of being greedy for selling their product is pretty tacky."

sell is a complicated matter. Advertising play a huge role. I've sold 100+ * more stuff on SLEchange then I have ever sold in game. There are also people who profestional sell, a retalor, those people take part of the profit, but they can have your stuff in hundred of locations instantly.

Corey, just advice for my products I have sold very little at "busy hubs". Almost 90% of what I sold in the last month is what I have sold at my store alone. Many of these places are artficially high in dwell where no one actually shops at, they go to a club or play Tringo, money tree farming, etc. Lotta dwell games. The hard part is actually to trying to finding the real places people shop at and customers who are looking for your product. It just takes some trial and error. Alot of my busier offsite location has been lower dwell places.

Memnoch,

I checked out your animation vendor and the display for it says no copy, mod, transfer.
