I would like to provide the illusion, via a scripted prim, of water being spilled out upon the ground and the subsequent puddle seeming to grow larger and larger. My initial thought was to make a flat "blob" sculpted prim and then start with a free form alpha layer water texture that covers only a small portion of the prim. Over some predetermined length of time I could, via a script, stretch the texture (in all directions, since that's your only way of manipulating a sculpted prim) so that the texture eventually covers the entire prim. I've never attempted anything like this before and before creating a lot of work for myself that may or may not prove successful, I thought I might ask the forum for advice on the best way to accomplish this. Any and all creative ideas are welcome! Thank you, Bartiloux Desmoulins Bartioux's Den of Sadistic Madness Plush Lambda

What about having three layers of the pond in different sizes and have them rez one after another seeming to grow? Have the first two temporary rez. Could this be done with the last one being the parent and the others the child prim?

Isn't this kinda what the SCALE mode of llSetTextureAnimation() does? I'm not seeing the point of the prim being a sculpt type, though, unless it's really *viscous* water.

i'm no scripting guru, Qie will agree, lol but how about the llSetPrimitiveParams to change the size and shape of your puddle sculpty.. remember I'm no guru, but thats the first thought i had.. http://www.lslwiki.net/lslwiki/wakka.php?wakka=llSetPrimitiveParamsgood luck
