Is there any way to find objects with wide-open listens? My understanding is that listens on channel 0 with no restrictions on who they listen to can cause lag, not to mention spying. Is there some way to find them?

edit: if you're an estate manager and spam open chat, you *might* be able to look for changes in Top Scripts and spot one. Aside from that, I don't think there's any way.. _____________________

I have been searching for a Mystool sleeper I placed on my land a year ago, and still unable to locate it, I think the script is on channel 1..any help would be appreaciated on how to write a script to search for it...

You could watch top scripts and wander around with an object that spams llWhisper(channel, ...); until something shows up.

Unfortunately, I don't have estate privs. Spamming with whisper sounds like a good way to find them though.
Doesn't that seem like a big security hole? Anyone who makes a product could drop in a simple listen/llInstantMessage? |

Or you could use one of those "find my stuff" radar devices that scan around looking for prims that show your name as owner. Likewise you could enable "show transparent" and look around. Maybe even turn on the "Beacon" for scripted items, and see if you can find it.
