I looked around and found no reference to a method to return an object via script.

I'd like to create a script that will look for certain objects and will return them. Is that possible at all?

Nope, thats impossible..

Unless each object has a script in it that you can access by listener. And even then, probably the only thing you can do is delete the object with llDie();

I guess thats about it :(

though you could get attach permissions, attach the object, and then on attach, detach. Which would function as a REALLY kludgey "take" initiated by the script rather than the owner.

Of course, it fails if they don't grant attach permissions.

Doesn't help you return other people's stuff tho.
