Hey how do i set it so instead of this llSetTextureAnim(ANIM_ON | SMOOTH | LOOP, ALL_SIDES, 1, 1, 0.0, 0.0, 0.5);
going across sideways, i want it to go up and down instead of left and right. Help?

try rotating the texture 90 degrees. If I understand what you mean, that should work for you

Sorry, guess I missunder stood how you wanted it to look. I had this problem as well, what we did was we went into photoshop and rotated the texture itself so that it was saved in a round about way, sideways, then when in SL we rotated the texture. so that the animation would look rigth with the right oreientation that we wanted. I hope that is what you mean.

There's actually no way to do this via llSetTextureAnim(), unfortunately.
