Please ignore my ignorance but is there a way with llListen to get a prim to listen beyond 20m?

I have made a script that listens to commands. It can stealth and move to someone when told to track that person. Problem is it only works up to 20m away. Is there anyway to increase this range?

Thank you before hand,

The distance is controlled by the sender of the chat. You can use a llShout (100m) or llRegionSay (no limit but won't cross sim borders).

If the commands are coming from avatars, the best you can to is shout from the chat line or carry a scripted toy that yells for you. If it's to casually pick up another avatar's chat, you are stuck with the distances they choose to use.

Thanks llRegion should be perfect :) I don't want to cross Sims just yet.

The little guy is supposed to be a spirit that listens to me. Going beyond that would be silly for now.

Yay! But I do hope you tackle silly later, SL needs more of that.
