I'm working on a bicycle with a vehicle script, having a problem with the sit position that I can't figure out. I can get my sit position set perfectly with Lex Neva's awesome tool. The problem is that about half the time, my avatar ends up in a different position, usually angled to the left or right of where I'm supposed to be. Usually if I stand up and sit again it will get it right within a few tries. I'm using a static pose that I made with QAvimator. Any ideas why the position would change from time to time? My only thought is that the top tube being so close to the avatar, and the seat being partly "inside" the avatar (ouch!) might be causing a push. Thanks!

I had a problem like this with a sitting animation. It was caused by the animation, not the shape of the seat. I can't remember the details, but it was caused by the animation not specifying the position of the trunk of the avatar. Try posting your question in the Animation forum.

OR you haven't got a sit target set properly. Are you sure you've set a llSitTarget() with a non-zero position offset?

Thanks for the tips! I will try to redo the animation and make sure the trunk position is set.
