I bought some scripts for a gun, works great. Problem Im having is Lagged out Sims. Normal is fine.
Lagged sims Bullets bounce off walls like crazy also they arc no matter what Velocity.
So Im guessing the bullet itself needs to be designed from the ground up the actual bullet and script.
Any tips would be great as far as demensions of the bullet itself.
Thank you in advance

I'm not sure what you are asking. A lag sim bullet is a griefer device. Are you asking how to make a better griefer device or just a plain bullet?

From: Destiny Niles I'm not sure what you are asking. A lag sim bullet is a griefer device. Are you asking how to make a better griefer device or just a plain bullet? From my understanding, a better bullet for in lagged sims. Essentially, more efficient or less laggy. The problem is that his bullets aren't deleting themselves on contact, but instead bouncing around for a while in lagged sims.

Yes Im sorry let me be more specific. Thanks Keira!
I have Bullets for my Gun, but in comparison to other professional guns my Bullets bounce like crazy.
I would like help on making a Bullet from a Gun die faster on impact with anything, instead of bouncing all over the place.
Currently the Bullet acts fine in a normal not so lagged Sim, but in a very laggy sim they bounce like crazy. Where as other bullets from professional gun makers bounce some but die short after. Thats the desired effect Im looking for.
Thank you

I'm having a different bullet problem - I would like the bullet to fly straight, but it arcs downwards, despite having a buoyancy of 1.0, which I thought was supposed to mean it's unaffected by gravity. I tried turning buoyancy up to 2.0 and it had no discernible effect.

to elaborate on that, -the die at edge makes the bullet die at the edge and not carry on to adjacent sims -the buoyancy call makes it defy gravity and fly in a straight line -the collision events all tell the bullet to die when it collides with something
other things you can do to help ensure your objects don't lag sims:
-make them temporary, just incase (although since temp stuff ignores parcel prim limitations thi s is a double edged sword) -add a timer, to guarantee an llDie will be called regardless of flight path/velocity etc -use a minimal script, and kick anybody that tells you you can gain performance by using a while(1) loop in 70 script copies to make your 0rbitz more l33t and ub3r fastzors.
