Hello,
I want to develop a fishing rod in world. I don't script much, but I want to build nice rods and fishes. Can someone please either provide a fishing rod script or offer to sell me one? I am in world Nathan Babcock.

Try the Products Wanted forum. The Scripting Tips forum is for getting help for developing your own scripts. If you want that kind of advice: 1.) figure out what you want your fishing rod to DO, 2.) read the stickys at the top of this forum to find resources that will help you learn to write scripts, and 3.) post any specific "how do I...?" questions here when you run into them.

The optics of a fishing rod is surprisingly easy:
It is basically a flag, but the waving part is thin and long, 2 prims.
The trickier part is having a fitting sit animation for someone holding that rod.
This way is only 2 prims and an animation pose, but the rod can only be 10 m long.
Another way may be the leash particle script, that needs 1-2 more prims and 2 communicating particle scripts.
This will look less solid but the rope can have any length and have a target.
Both ways will wave in the wind and behave physically.
