I'm a content creater and a do a little scripting. I heared that copybot can actulally be confused by a script that , for example, turns a cube into a sphere. That script woudl hten just cycle making the morphing flux back and forth. Is this true ?

I'm confused as to how doing so would allow you to maintain a build's look. I mean...if you have a box constantly morphing to a sphere and back...wouldn't that look odd?

The 101th prim would be an alphaed cube that would constantly morph, the rest of the object would not. |

I think the only person that could answer your question is someone who has used CopyBot. Personally I think Copybot is a rather dead issue. If someone really wants to copy your stuff, they can and will, even if they do it by eye. I just take satisfaction in knowing such people who copy my stuff are sadly uncreative and enjoy the implied compliment.

It essentially takes a snapshot of the prims when it sees it. by including a "morphing" script, the only thing that copybot won't be able to copy is the morphing action. it in no way disables the copybot from creating a duplicate of your object in it's entirity. This is why when copybots were "Public" only items that relied heavily on thier scripting for functionality were safe from complete piracy. _____________________
