As far as I know, several people have allready made several IRC-to-SL implementations - for sharing chat between IRC and SecondLife using either E-Mail or XML-RPC as a bridge... but i'm not really certain who these certain people are.
I was wondering - who do you know has developed such a system and actually put it to use?

There was one at the latest Future Salon at Flipper's place. Flipper could probably tell you who made it.

I made one! ... but it's only half-finished, and relies on a steady flow of chat/pings from the IRC server to see what's going on in-world. Tempted to make a timer-based version, but I don't want to ping the RPC server to death.
