How do you make a prim sit someone when they touch it? I've seen chairs like this before, when you hover your mouse over it the mouse pointer changes.

Theres a drop down list on the edit window to chose what to do when someone clicks and object. Its on the general tab I think..

Right click object> Edit> More button> General Tab> Near the bottom.

Um, to the best of my knowledge (which isn't very much, I freely admit) you cannot actually SIT someone by touching something - nor can an object make you SIT via a script funtion. Sitting must always be chosen manually via the pie menu upon right click.

Actuall SITting means you link your avatar and the sat upon object/prim - the avatar is no longer physical in this state. The sat upon object/prim receives a link change event, etc.

You can PLAY a sit animation when you touch an object but this is very different from actual sitting because you remain ohysical and not linked when you play the animation only.

The chair icon is displayed, as far as I know, when an object has a sit-target defined in a script inside of it. I am, however, not sure on this.

"How do you make a prim sit someone when they touch it?" If someone touched a prim that was set at "sit on object" they would indeed sit.
