When you right-click an object on an avatar it treats it as though you clicked the avatar itself. Can an option be added to that menu to enable someone to attach themselves to you, like a piggy-back ride or as if to carry someone?

It used to be you could attach yourself to an object attached to an avatar... but that was long, long ago.
Now-a-days folks fake it by having both avs sit on a single object - a vehicle, for instance, designed to be invisible but still mobile for walking about together.

Or you can have an object follow the avatar and sit on that (like "Free Ride" or "Tenser's Floating Disc" .

follow would only be possible with goto and certainly not an object set to physics, otherwise your passenger just ends up all over the place

I've got a physics follower that works very well, even with several avs attached to it. (When experimenting with physical objects in a sandbox, it can be astonishingly difficult not to have avs attached to the object.)

yes my point exactl. Jolan simply look up Mark Coffee in Find>People and goto his shop , there you will find a free Taxi vehicle that is comletely modifiable (as a learning tool) and you can easily adapt this to what you're aim for I believe.
