Im lost I need help with SLurl HUD

I am trying to make a simple hud with just one prim that will tp me to my home.
Any suggestions or maybe an easy fix? I have seen Jesse Barnett's scripts which are old and freezing on me :/. And there are such huds on xstreet but they direct you to "user chosen" my ass locations.

I am online, if you have a solution I would like an IM .

And you don't want to use the keyboard shortcut control-shift-H?

I'd probably just stick the SLurl in a defaut scripts and attach the prim to the hud.

There's a Home button on the map, of course.

There's no one click method, a hud that prints a slurl would require you to click local chat, click the link, then click teleport. Easier to go to world menu... teleport home, or the keyboard shortcut.

You can do it the old way with llMapDestination, just drop a landmark of your own in the HUD:

I don't understand. Scripts don't get stale like bread, and don't become outdated unless something specific changes in lsl or the SL environment (e.g. a new physics engine). And the http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/User:Jesse_Barnett/Slurl_TP_HUD was working fine last time I used it.


What do you mean, they "freeze" on you? I ask because I suspect whatever difficulty you're having tp-ing to the slurls they chat is not going to be particularly associated with that particular script.

Its literally just changing one line in the default script ha, so simple.
