Is there a simple way to check with a script whether a region is PG or Mature or forthcoming Adult?
I've looked in the LSL Portal and cannot find any function.
If there isn't a function, then it means making a list of all regions and their statuses.

Is there a way to see if the specific PARCEL has the "Mature"-flag on? The region could be mature, but a parcel could be marked as "non-Mature". Thanks, Rebecca. |

You can play with http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/LlGetParcelFlags and see if those flags tell you what you want. There are numbers for payment info on file and and age verified, but no compiler constants (the numbers to try are on that page, PF_DENY_ANONYMOUS 0x00400000 for payment info and PF_DENY_AGEUNVERIFIED 0x80000000 for the Aristotle check). In practical terms these are kind of redundant with the adult region flag now, but people might still want to use them on PG and mature land as coarse anon filters. |

Just to finish off that: PF_MATURE_PUBLISH, 0x00040000 is the old per-parcel mature content flag. I expect that this one will stay around as well; it's an advisory flag not tied to age verification, but some may still want to use it to mark something on mature land as "hey this isn't Disney."
