Hello all,
I'm going to have a frozen lake on my property and I would like to have skates people can get a copy of from my property to skate on the lake. The only problem is.... I'm don't know ANY scripting. I was wondering if someone could please make a script I could put in my ice skates to make then "skate" on the ice. I would appreciate it VERY much if someone could please write a skating script that I can put in the skates.

What about using the roller skate script, and just changing the roller skate object with an object that looks like an ice skate.

nevermind what i said, i didnt find one that worked. I created ice skates from scratch but when i put the scipts from the roller skates in it i couldnt give it to anyone because it was no modify. If anyone could please write a quick script and animation i would greatly appreciate it. I will not sell these skates they will be free and available to all on my property, Sno 'Cap apartments. Please help me with this.

have you talked to the creator of the roller scates? he or she might be willing to give you a copy that is distributable.

I looked, the creator is never online, tried doing that for a few days. Doesnt anyone just have a roller skate script i could use?

Either the script or the anim aren't transferrable. I imported one of my own for the same reason. I'll look you up and drop one on you when I get home for lunch.

I was talking to Zoey Jade yesterday, and found out she use to run an ice rink in sl. She mentioned that she sells her ice skating script for 1,000 L with full mod rights. FYI

Any chance i could get a copy of such a script at this late a date? ^^;;

I don't want skating anims, just a script that makes it feel like I'm skating... ya know coast for a bit in my last direction, but be able to make sharp turns if I turn my self to face a different way.

skating script is basicly a AO with skating animations

Mrc's right, skating scripts are basically an AO added to the item with a skating animation in it, a good place to start might be www.mermaiddiaries.com there Nat shows you how to make an animation and add it to an item so that it plays on attachment.

of course if your lazy, you could always pull apart the freebie hobo skates available at NCI Kuula.
