I want to concatinate a list of avatar names into a single string, delimited by a character that cannot be found in any avatar name. Does anybody know a character that is forbidden in an avatar name.

Apparently common punctuation marks and symbols are ok (e.g. $ or '('), because I tried to register an avatar with these things in his name, and the registration procedure accepted them (but I didn't go all the way).

When I tried John+Henry as a first name, the system said that "John Henry" was available, so maybe the plus sign would be a good delimiter.

It would be nice to have an "official" pronouncement about this, since a bad choice might come back to haunt me some day.

I've never seen a 3 word name, that is one with more than exactly one space in it, and from seeing the names people come up with, I'm quite certain they would have put in a space if they could have.

So I would seperate with a space, and know that there is exactly one space in each avatar name.

I'm not sure this is correct. I can't get the registration page to accept anything other than alphanumeric characters for the first name.
