Hi,

I don't have access to SL at the moment to test this, so I wonder if anyone has an “off the cuff” answer.

Do HUD's retain the same UUID if worn, detached and then worn again by the same avitar?

Thanks

No, they have a different key every time they are rezzed, like any other object.

Damn :( But thanks for the quick response.
Now it's back to the drawing Board.

You might want to take look to http://w-hat.com/name2key and other similar services.

w-hat or any other service still won't help with the uuid of an object.
