If you use Eclipse (Release 3) for Linux or Windows and would be willing to give my new editor for LSL a try, please let me know. As an Eclipse plug-in, the editor should work on all platforms, but I have only tested it on Macintosh so far.

I can't really help with that right now but I wanted to chime in and say that Eclipse is AWESOME. I used it about a year ago to put together some Java stuff and it is a killer IDE.

I have Eclipse and use it on XP... I do 99% of my offline coding in Scite but I'd be willing to give it a shot. I normally stay away from Eclipse because it is ... bloaty --Jack Lambert

Ahh I've been using eclipse on XP for all my java programming for school. I have the entire thing on my 512 meg usb flash drive. Kinda switched from Netbeans but am liking it so far.
is it just me or is extremely slow at times? I think it is bloaty.

I'm your man for Windows (XP). I'd love to give it a go!

Thanks for all the responses! I'll get in touch with you in-world. And .... I'm still looking for my Linux friend.
There are certainly some slow places in Eclipse. One thing though ... given the lazy loading architecture, any time you try something new in a session, there is usually a pause while it finds the proper plug-in and gets things started. For instance: The first time I click on a little QuickFix lightbulb, it is probably 20 seconds before it pops. After that, the QuickFix lives up to its name.
