Has anyone used LSL Editor and LSL Plus for script development? Does one offer any advantages over the other.

I use LSLEditor and I like it. It's a good IDE and quite stable. Capable of communicating with other scripts and note cards opened as tabs inside the program. Doesn't require an installation, just download and run. It has an in-built intelli-sence to it which is nice so you don't have to type out the whole word of like llSetPrimitiveParams. Plus my favorite feature, which allows you to copy and paste directly into SL. Also, SL does not need to be running in order to use LSLEditor.

The only downside to it is is that it has a poor live debugging capabilities, but that is probably just because a lot of scripts do things to 3D objects where this program just runs a text based debugger.

LSL Editor will work just fine for you.

I don't see where LSL Plus is even available anymore. Files aren't available from either Ecllipse or SourceForge. Anybody else find a working link?

EDIT found a copy here:

http://sourceforge.net/projects/lslplus/

LSL Plus was just updated a couple of weeks ago. http://lslplus.sourceforge.net/ still works for me, and the download link seems OK from here.

They must be having server problems. Hit or miss and when it does load it takes a long time.
